The Titans lost on Sunday dropping their record to 6-3. While the defeat hurts, the Titans find themselves right in the middle of a very tight AFC south race. Vince showed two traits known to alot of young quarterbacks, he showed how bright the future can be by completeing 24 passes for 257 yards and 1 touchdown while rushing for another 52 yards on only 8 carries. Then he showed his youth by throwing a late interception in the endzone. While the interception sealed the titans loss, the play of Vince kept them in the game from the start as the defense struggled.

With the titans running game recording only 10 yards from its running backs, Vince used his mobility and rocket arm to give the Titans a chance to pull away with the victory. In the end the score shows the Titans 15 point loss, but it doesnt show how much progress our second year pro-bowl quarterback is making. While there are growing pains with any young nfl player, we have seen enough to know that for years to come we have a winner at the helm with enough heart to ensure that things can only get better.

Vince does it again this week against the Panthers. If you have VY on your fantasy team your probably not to happy with his performance. Only throwing for 110 yards with 2 Interceptions won’t get you very many fantasy points, he did rush for 25 yards with 1 touchdown however. Does it really matter that Vince doesn’t have Manning or Brady passing stats? Some may think so, If Vince is able to keep putting the Win on the stats sheet then that is fine by me.

With the win today against the Carolina Panthers, the Titans are now 6-2 on the season. This is a great start for any team, much less a team that many predicted would have a losing season this year. Next week the Titans take on the struggling Jacksonville Jaguars, hopefully the streak continues and we will be talking next week about the 7-2 Titans.

They really did, i’m serious. If you watched the game you would be just as suprised as i am. I ofcourse am i huge VY fan but this was probably the worst performance of his young career. The good news is they still pulled off the win, Titans defense is still looking incredible strong which was probably the reason for this victory. Vince only had 6 completions in this game for a grand total of 42 yards. How often does the team with only 42 yards of passing offense win a game in the NFL? I’m sure it has happened before, but not that i have ever seen.

Hopefully Vince is able to pull out of this slump and get his confidence back this week against the Panthers. With a current record of 5-2 the Titans have a great chance of making the playoffs, hopefully they will get it together and make that happen.
