It doesn’t come as any suprise to any Titans fan, but atleast it is now official. Vince ran away with it, just like he does on the field receiving 23 out of 50 votes. New Orleans wide receiver Marques Colston and Jacksonville running back Maurice Jones-Drew both had nine votes apiece; San Diego tackle Marcus McNeill had 6; and Saints running back Reggie Bush just 3. Young became the first rookie qb to rush for more than 500 yards in a season, and his passing skills improved all year under coach Jeff Fisher and offensive coordinator Norm Chow. Congrats to Vince, I look forward to seeing what he can do next season.

The Tennessee Titans battled their division rival the Houston Texans last Sunday in an afternoon game in Houston. The two teams went back and forth with the scoring, ultimately ending regulation in a tie score 20-20. Young showed no signs or weakness when ovetime started. He marched the Titans down the field and scored a game winning touchdown on a 39 yard run. He simply blew by all the defenders on his way to the end zone. Just another glimpse of why Young is a superstar in the making.

Vince’s passing game wasn’t as hot as it had been. He ended the game throwing 19 completions on 29 attempts for 218 yards and 1 interception. But the damage was done on the gorund in stead. Young had 7 rushing attempts for 86 yards and a touchdown.

Young continues to make his case for Offensive Rookie of the Year. No rookie has had such an impact on their team. The Titans are now 6-7 and have won 4 games in a row. They face the Jaguars in Tennessee this week.
